exhibits the poor workmanship by the tiler who has installed a short angle at the door. Due to the angle not being from door jamb to door jam, the weight of persons entering has cracked the tile.
There is a water leak at the door, it is rotting the smooth edge under the carpet. The angle should be levelled & siliconed on the concrete floor substrate. Also, there can be faulty or defective work from the waterproofer. The waterproofer must install a 40mm aluminium angle to finish flush with the tile in accordance with AS3640.
A water leak was detected in the electrical room of a building, inspection was completed 3 days after heavy rain.
This is a job that we completed to assist a homeowner of continuous water penetration from the outside, we applied negative pressure waterproofing membrane from Drizoro Max-Seal Foundation. This assisted a great deal in protecting the wall on the side of the home from any further water penetration or build-up of mould/mildew.
This renovation did not cater for the water on the outside wall of the laundry, due to the sloping site there was build up of water ponding from the garden earth and soil. We recommended to the owner to take back the soil, apply Max-Seal flex Drizoro, blue metal & agy line to stop any further water penetration.
